Well, after three years of contracting in private aviation I finally landed a full-time position on a Challenger 604 :-)
It's both part 91 and 135 which is something that I've always wanted to do. I started in October 2012 and so far I love my job! This is the best job anyone could ask for.
The holidays are about to get in full swing, so it's going to be busy busy busy and I'm very excited!
Happy Thanksgiving and happy flying everyone!

My first International Flight!!!
I'm so excited, I just got booked on my first official international flight (via Sky Limo Charters) to Barbados this weekend. This was also another last minute booking (I got called today to leave tomorrow); I'm so glad I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be available for anything life throws at me :)
Well I'm off to start packing....
Be sure to check out Sky Limo Charter's website for your charter needs: http://www.skylimoaircharter.com

My first flight as a corporate flight attendant
Boy was I nervous!!!
I received a call around 12 noonish on 08/07/09 from Don of Strategic Air. He wanted me to be at the hanger (in Fort Lauderdale) by 2pm. Thank God for my flexible schedule...I was excited and nervous at the same time. My first flight only 2 weeks after my training; I really didn't expect any jobs until the end of August but I guess my hard work paid off. After getting off the phone with Don, I get a call from Mary Lou of Beyond and Above (where I got my training), she said she had recommended me for the job and I thanked her profusely.
I arrive at the hanger on time, we walk through the plane and I familiarize myself with all the bells and whistles, it was a Gulfstream - GII. I meet the pilots who were super nice, we fly to opa locka airport (Miami) to pick up the passengers. There I meet Madora (in charge of special services at the opa locka executive airport) who was so nice and helpful, she helped me feel at ease and told me "you are in charge", that helped a lot. The passengers get there, I greet them and we're off to Portland, ME. Everything flowed smoothly, I was no longer nervous once the passengers got on board, they were happy and I was thrilled.
Well my first day is completed....on to the rest of my travels. Happy Travels everyone!
